Colio invites you to join us for our 17th Annual Festival of Ice, this year in celebration of Canada’s 150th Anniversary of Confederation! Come out to the main event on Saturday, February 4th and enjoy live ice carving, wine and ice-wine tastings, and more. Bring your family to watch the ice carvers in action, and enjoy participating in a number of Canadian winter traditions! Carver Andres Erdmann took home first prize for his sculpture this past weekend at the Festival of Ice. This long-time carver has participated in the Colio’s sculpting event since it began.

Your entry into the Festival is a canned good or non-perishable food to help feed the hungry in our Community, the donations being accepted to support the Harrow Food Bank, St. Vincent De Paul.

At the Colio Estate Winery Festival of Ice was the perfect game based on the wineries award-winning Hat Tricks wine. Peggy and Jim Jacques and Karen and Leigh Howell all took part in the shooting game to try their luck at winning a Colio prize.

Jake, Cash and Katie pose with one of the most beautiful ice-sculptures at Colio’s Estate Winery. It was a full house, Alyson Douglas marketing director for Colio, said the event this year saw over 1500 people attend. It included wine-tastings of their award-winning selection and cheese with chocolate pairings available to sample.

At the Colio Ice Festival this year was an entry to win 4 tickets to March’s Mac & Cheese Madness.  These tickets are special, they are always sold out! You experience all of our local Wineries for sampling and tastings. It’s a Blast!

Reviewed 18 March 2016; Five of us went during the March Mac Madness winery tours March 6, 2016. Several local wineries take part in this event and we all found Oxley to serve up the best Mac and Cheese of all. I enjoyed their Cabernet Sauvignon along with my Mac and Cheese. The staffs are all very energetic and welcoming and they offer wine tastings all year long. Oxley is a must visit during any winery tour in Southwestern Ontario.
